A WWE realiza hoje o Backlash na LDLC Arena em Lyon-Decines, França. O Pay-Per-View será transmitido no Peacock.
O Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match entre Cody Rhodes e AJ Styles, foi confirmado como o main event do Pay Per View pelo próprio Rhodes. Ele escreveu:
"Queria mencionar isto após o Contract Signing (e perdoem-me se estiver errado, mas acho que não…) Também será o PRIMEIRO Main Event de um PLE arbitrado por uma mulher."
