Repórter da ESPN diz que WM28 teve 1.9 milhões de vendas mas número cheira a mentira por todo lado
O repórter da ESPN Gus Ramsey, disse no dia de ontem no twitter que a Wrestlemania 28 teve 1.9 milhões de vendas de PPV`s mas pouco tempo depois apagou a mensagem. O repórter em questão disse:
"accidentally deleted my earlier tweet. Rock and Brock each sign 1 year deals. WM28 did 1.9M buys. WWE was targeting 1.5M,"
Perante este valor, muitas foram as pessoas que desconfiaram da veracidade deste número que faz o repórter esclarecer a sua afirmação e dizer:
"I trust who I heard it from, but again no confirmation."
"just something I heard. I'm not a reporter. Just a guy who likes wrestling and knows some people. Could very well be wrong"
"Re: WM28 buy rate. 1- I work at espn, not a reporter. Not the same thing. 2- I heard the number but have no confirmation."
"haven't seen anything in writing. so maybe the # is wrong, or I misheard it, but pretty sure that was the # + WWE very happy"
O facto é que este número tem tudo para ser falso pois na história do PPV somente dois PPV`s de boxe ultrapassaram este número e nenhum evento do UFC o atingiu.
