A lenda do Wrestling de Chicago e ex-AAW Heavyweight Champion, Eric Priest, faleceu aos 50 anos.

A notícia foi dada em primeira mão pela AAW na sua conta oficial do X. Mustafa Ali, que é de Chicago, também partilhou a sua homenagem a Eric Priest.

It is with great sadness that we report former AAW Heritage Champion and Chicago legend, Eric Priest has passed away.

Eric Priest was a staple of Chicago wrestling for many years and ruled the early 2000s as THE guy in Chicago.

Eric Priest foi treinado por Ace Steel e Danny Dominion. Para além da AAW, o lutador também competiu na ROH e na TNA.

Eric Priest também apareceu no RAW após a WrestleMania 22, onde perdeu para Chris Masters num squash match.
